Leading distribution company based in Redditch are looking for a Transport Administrator to join their expanding team.

Previous experience working in transport and planning routes is essential to fulfill this position of Transport Administrator. Offered on a temporary to permanent basis, this position of Transport Administrator is available for immediate start.

Duties of Transport Administrator:

  • Build loads and plan routes efficiently and effectively
  • Regularly review and update plans and communicate with relevant colleagues
  • Quote prices for movement of loads upon request
  • Ensure all company systems are updated accurately and on a timely basis
  • Work closely with workshop colleagues to ensure resource requirements and service schedules are met
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Skills and attributes required by Transport Administrator:

  • High attention to detail
  • Previous experience working in a team-based office environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Computer literal
  • Qualified to Level 3 Supply Chain Operator or equivalent

Location: Redditch, Worcestershire

Hours of work: 7am-6pm (Monday-Friday)

Pay: 12.35 per hour

Contract: Temporary to permanent
